Bottom Line

The credits are only good for the stay during which it was earned, and any additional amount is forfeited.  Be sure you can use most of the value on the credits if you’re planning on maximizing this promotion.  But with Hyatt offering AA miles + free stays, Starwood offering free weekend nights, and Hilton offering nights + miles, this ranks lower on the list.
