Delta recently announced Tequila happy hours in their Sky Clubs for the summer. I’ve never tried Tequila Avion, but since they don’t carry Woodford reserve in the Sky Clubs, I think I’ll give this a try next time I’m in one of the lounges.

Message From Delta:
Dear Weekly Flyer,

Take time out for a little tequila before takeoff.

A celebrity favorite, Tequila Avión has landed at the award winning Delta Sky Club. Tequila Avión, a 2011 Double Gold winner at The San Francisco World Spirits Competition, is known for using only the finest Blue Weber Agave found in the highest regions of Jalisco, Mexico.

Take time out to experience two award winning brands before takeoff. Tequila Avión is hosting summer tequila hours on Thursdays from 5-7pm at any of the following Club locations and guests can try professional mixologist-created Tequila Avión cocktails.

  • Atlanta (Concourse A center 2nd level, T6, B25, & C37)
  • New York-JFK (T2 & T3 gate 11)
  • New York-LGA (Concourse near gate 2)
  • Detroit (Terminal across from gate A38)
  • Boston
  • Miami
  • Los Angeles*

* Los Angeles tequila hours: Thursdays 7-9pm.

Offer based on first come, first served while supplies last. Offer void where prohibited by law and void to everyone under 21 years old. Additional restrictions may apply. Please drink responsibly.

Bottom Line

Any enhancements to the Sky Club is appreciated.  I’ve noticed the reservations at most of the Sky Clubs are now complete and looking great.  Any idea how long the supplies of Tequila will last?
