Happy Anniversary American Airlines. It is hard to believe 10 years and over 440,000 miles have already passed since we joined together in the AAdvantage program.

Our many wonderful journeys over the years have included trips to Buenos Aires, Las Vegas, Turks & Caicos, New York, DC, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, Colorado, Nassau, San Juan, and I will never forget our trip to Anguilla. Thank you for all the wonderful memories you’ve given us over the years.

I look forward to spending more time with you in 2012 including a few flights (I’ll announce in my next post) in the very near future.

Thank You For The Nice Anniversary Note

Dear Weekly Flyer,

We know you have a choice when it comes to air travel and we appreciate the business you have given us this past year. Today, we’d like to extend a special thanks to you as you celebrate your 10th AAdvantage® anniversary.

Since we launched the world’s first frequent flyer program in 1981, we have worked hard to provide great value whether you earn your miles by flying or through products and services offered by the wide range of companies participating in the AAdvantage program. And now, your miles are redeemable for award travel on more than 20 participating airlines to nearly 950* destinations in almost 150 countries worldwide.

Thank you again for your business. We look forward to seeing you on an American Airlines flight soon!
