It is time to sign up for the next quarter 5% cash back bonus from the Chase Freedom card. The next quarter bonuses are very timely for summer vacation travel. You’ll get 5% cash back on fuel for your car and 5% cash back on food fuel that keeps you going while you are on vacation.

If you are like me, you probably find it annoying to have to sign up for the Chase Freedom quarterly bonus each quarter. Thankfully, Chase has made the sign up process easy. It is so easy, you can even sign up through a text message.

3rd Quarter 5% Cash Back Promotion Categories (expired)

For the months of July through September (in 2012 now expired) Chase Freedom Card holders will receive 5% cash back at Gas Stations and Restaurants.

If you also have a Chase Ink Bold or Chase Sapphire Preferred, you can then transfer the cash back into Chase Ultimate Rewards points.

Easy Way To Automatically Register For Quarterly Promotions

It is a hassle to remember to sign up each quarter for these promotions. But if you are smart, you’ll sign up for Chase Freedom notifications via text message. Each quarter Chase will send you a text message reminding you to sign up for the next quarter promotion.

Getting 5% back on everyday spend is excellent return. The 3rd quarter bonuses are great for summer travel. If you fill up the gas tank and head out for a long weekend, don’t forget to bring your Chase Freedom credit card. You’ll get 5% cash back on the fuel that gets your car there and 5% cash back on the food fuel that keeps you going while you are there.
