Amex Summer Savings – 4th Night Free + $100 Resort Credit

This post may contain affiliate links from our advertising partners, such as American Express. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here.

Summer is here and so is American Express’s Summer Savings promotion. With this promotion, you can receive a fourth night free plus a $100 resort credit. All you have to do is book your hotel with an American Express credit card.

The downside is this promotion is limited to only one hotel. The hotel is located in Asheville, North Carolina and gets mixed reviews on trip advisor. I have to admit, I’ve never visited the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa, but the hotel’s pictures sure do look nice, as does the golf course.

Fourth Night Free Plus A $100 Resort Credit

You can receive your fourth night free at the Grove Park Inn Resort & Spa in Ashville, North Carolina. Simply book with your American Express credit card for 3 consecutive nights between June 21 and September 3 this year.

  • Book and pay using any American Express Card and use code AXPFNP
  • Stay 3 consecutive nights June 21 through September 3, 2012
  • Receive the 4th night free
  • Plus a $100 resort credit when you

The T&C’s state you must book and pay with an American Express credit card. We have the Starwood Preferred Guest credit card, so we’ll have choices to use for the summer savings promotion.

Real Savings

Sometimes these special booking codes really don’t provide any savings. But with this promotion, we were able to find dates that took over $350 off a 4 night stay.

Rate with promotion was $1,066.29.

Rate without promotion was $1,421.72.

Terms And Conditions

Offer valid when you pay with any American Express Card or Charge Card for stays June 1 – September 3, 2012 based upon availability. Minium 4 night stat required (consectutive nights). Not valid with discount, promotional, group or package rates. Blackout dates and restrictions may apply. The $100 resort credit is per room stay and cannot be applied to the room rate, taxes, or daily resort charge. Fulfillment of the offer is the sole responsibility of the participating American Express merchant.

Bottom Line

The savings with the American Express Summer Savings promotion offers real value. We’ll keep our eye on other offers through the summer savings promotion, but are passing on this one since we just returned from a friend’s wedding in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I love the Grove Park Inn; wonderful Spa, good food, and the sunsets are just gorgeous. Asheville is not a Disney experience, but there is good food as well as sights to see. It is just a old southern college town. My family and I go at least once a year……..

Asheville is a very, very nice town, and the Grove Park Inn is the nicest around. Between an outstanding little downtown, the Biltmore Estate, and lots of great hiking, this would make for a great long weekend.
