I am really proud of Mrs. Weeklyflyer because she has been diligent to shop through online portals with our credit cards to maximize points. Mrs. Weeklyflyer was in need of some new makeup this weekend and came across a pretty good deal by going through the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal. Right now, you can get 10 extra points per dollar spent at Sephora.com. Ah, don’t know what that store sells, but it must be awesome at 10 points per dollar!
She picked out a few items and got free shipping instantly by spending over $50 (they also have free returns.) In addition, she used a promotion code, YOURGIFT to get a free deluxe sample. The benefits didn’t stop there, she also got 3 free samples (as you do with every order.) And when she signed into her account, she had enough Sephora “point perks” that she used 100 points to get another free deluxe sample.
Instead of picking up something for herself, instead, this time she picked up something special for Mr. Weeklyflyer! Sephora.com has more than just makeup, they have beauty and fragrance items for men and babies too. They also have so many different promotion codes that you can use (only one per order.) The nice thing is that they have many listed right on their website.
She used her Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card to make the $64 purchase on makeup, got free shipping, 5 free samples and an extra 640 Chase Ultimate Rewards points. A good shopping day for Mrs. Weekly Flyer for sure.
