One of my most recent purchases was at the Diapers dot com family of websites. Since the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal offers bonus points, I went through the Chase Ultimate Rewards (UR) portal which offered 2 extra points per $1 spent.I was very pleased with the savings on my transaction and the extra points earned too!

Points And Savings From The Chase UR Portal Transaction

Diapers website always offers free 2 day shipping on orders greater than $50. This is a great offer because shipping is never fun to pay. In addition, they’ve added some new sites to their “familyhood” and are offering 30% off of one item on a number of their new sites.

I picked out a couple must haves that were on clearance for Baby Weeklyflyer from their website but needed to spend more money to get free shipping. Sometimes, you can get something for free if you consider the cost of the shipping being charged vs. just adding something to your cart to hit the spending threshold. In this case I needed to get my spending to $50 to receive free shipping.

So I ventured into their new site bookworm dot com and found that they were offering 30% off on up to 3 books! I picked out 3 board books for Baby Weekly Flyer. Then I tried their new site vine dot com where they are also offering 30% off one item that we needed, vitamins. I chose the biggest bottle to get the most out the 30% off deal since the coupon is only for first time purchases on the new sites.

My order total was now just over $50. Bingo, the site automatically gave me free shipping. Next, I entered in the 2 promo codes for 30% off which were bookworm30 and vine30. To my surprise, even after my 30% deductions came off, I still had free shipping even though my total was only $40 including tax.

Bottom Line

Without leaving the house, I was able to buy some necessities and some holiday gifts and have them shipped for free to my door in 2 days! I also got 2 points per dollar extra for going through the Chase portal and put it on new Chase Ink Plus Credit Card to make sure that we hit the spending threshold. Happy Shopping!
