I was rooting around my Starwood Preferred Guest account page today and found a $25 award certificate I wasn’t expecting. After a little searching, I found out that I had registered here as a SPG Platinum elite member for the $25 award certificate. Did any of you sign up for this promotion and use the gift certificate yet?

To find out if your award is in your account do the following:
- Log in to your SPG account
- Check your account to see which awards are ready (see picture below)
After reviewing my account I realized something. I have an award I can use that will get me $25 off the bill during my next Starwood hotel stay.
What Does The $25 Certificate Cover
The $25 will cover anything that is charged to a hotel folio like food, Westin workout clothing rentals, bar tabs, spas and other items you can dream up.

This is a sweet deal offering $25 off my next stay at a Starwood property. Thought I’d pass along in case any of you had forgot that you had an award in your account as well.

Be careful. I had this, and tied it to a reservation by phone to the SPG Plat line, but the amount was not taken off my bill and when I called the SPG Plat line from the hotel front desk at checkout, I was told that I had to have the paper certificate that their records show they mailed to me and that it did not matter that the certificate showed in my account, as I had to have the paper certificate and all SPG had to do was have mailed it to me and that they would not mail out a replacement. I was upset, but later concluded that perhaps I had had the paper certificate and used it ages ago. I had another paper certificate that did not show in my account, but I did not have it with me, and the SPG Plat line person kept telling me that was impossible because there were no certificates with the expiration date I was claiming. Not true, as I had it at home and used it on my next trip!

365 nights?? is that fabricated or do actually live in an SPG hotel?
I was thinking the same thing about 365 nights ad 100 stays YTD. Either booking stays for someone else or something crazy is going on!
