Bottom Line

Bonus points are always good, But this won’t matter for Platinum members who already receive complimentary access to Club Lounges. If you aren’t a SPG Platinum member and want to use this promotion, just make sure the rate plans for this promotion (DAILYFS or SICLUB) don’t negate the bonus by jacking up the cost of the club level room.

Gold and Preferred members can still upgrade to a Sheraton Club using the points chart below.

  1. “In addition to earning an extra 1,000 to 1,500 points per stay through the method I shared last year”

    What method is that?

  2. Thanks for the follow up. I’ve been using that program since 2010, so I thought there was something new.

  3. Looks very limited. Of all the SPG hotels in California, there’s only about 15 listed through the Club Level page. No Sheraton San Jose for example. And yes the rates are ridiculous. I normally pay less than $160 at that hotel through a corporate rate, and the rates at the Sheraton Sunnyvale through the Club Level program are $289 and up. I *love* points but sorry, not at that price.

  4. Can this be combined with current promo (rate plan SPG35B, until March 31) where you earn additional 500 points and free breakfast for 2?
