This weekend I had the opportunity to speak with Rudy Maxa, “The Savvy Traveler.” Rudy Maxa’s World is the country’s most
widely syndicated travel talk radio show.

I spoke with Rudy about how Mrs Weekly Flyer and I redeemed over 1.7 million miles and points for our “Year of the B” award travel theme. The discussion focused on how we earned the 1.7 million miles and more importantly why we did it and where we went.

The theme was simple, we began our travel that year by visiting places that started with the letter B, visiting places like Bora Bora, Buenos Aires, Bahia Beach Puerto Rico part I, and part II, among many other places. But we quickly ran out of places to visit that started with the letter B so we continued redeeming points and miles to places around the world as we celebrated an exciting time in our life.
