Uber is currently offering a referral signup and last week that was stackable with a limited time $25 Amazon Local credit upon new member signup. I took them up on the offer and think Uber is one of the most efficient ways to book and ride with a car service.
In the past I’ve relied on a personal car service in my home town and random car services while traveling. The only good service I consistently received was with my home town driver and then a great one I found in Montreal who I used for six months. I could count on both to show up on time. The thing I like best about Uber is they provide each driver with an iPhone to track their location, which I’ve confirmed with my local driver who also participates in Uber. So if you place a request for a car, you’ll be able to track their arrival.
This week I’ve already received my next offer (targeted) from Uber and I like it! They are offering another $40 credit to reserve an Uber Black Car or SUV ride before Sunday 7/14.
So even though I didn’t have a reason to use Uber this week, I do now with this $40 credit before Sunday.
