Airport Club Access and Priority Pass Select

The Platinum Card has two complimentary airport lounge programs: Priority Pass Select and the Airport Club Access Program. These programs give you access to over 600 domestic and international lounges including the Delta Sky Club and our Centurion lounges (You must enroll to participate in the Priority Pass Select Program).

$200 Airline Fee Credit

Enroll and select a qualifying airline to receive up to $200 annually in statement credits for incidental fees, such as checked bags and airport lounge day-passes, charged by the airline.

Global Entry Fee Credit

When you use your Platinum Card to apply for Global Entry membership, we’ll credit the $100 application fee, and if approved, your membership will be valid for 5 years. Additional Platinum Card(s) are also eligible for the $100 statement credit. To receive the credit the Additional Card Member must charge the application fee on their Additional Card account. Global Entry members can use TSA Pre✓, an expedited security screening program for select travelers who are flying in the US on participating airlines from specific airports

Bottom Line

There have been some changes to their lounge access program, but you do still get access to Delta Sky Clubs (for the card-member), as well as a Priority Pass Select Membership and access to the new Centurion Lounges in Dallas Forth-Worth and Las Vegas.

The card has no foreign transaction fees and offers benefits such as refunding the Global Entry fee as well as giving complimentary Starwood Gold status.

This card accrues points in the American Express Membership Rewards program, which is great since you can transfer to a large number of airline and hotel point programs.

The current offer for the personal Platinum American Express Credit Card gives 40,000 bonus points after spending $3,000 during your first three months of having the card.
