Delta and Marriott have teamed up to launch a promotion where SkyMiles members can earn 25,000 bonus SkyMiles after just five stays with Marriott.

Marriott Delta

Details of the offer:

  • Earn 25,000 bonus miles after 5 paid stays at any of 3,700+ participating Marriott hotels worldwide between now and May 31, 2014.
  • You must register to be eligible.

Terms and Conditions:

Registration is required. Marriott Rewards members who are also Delta SkyMiles members and register for this promotion by May 31, 2014, will earn 25,000 bonus miles after 5 stays, between February 15, 2014 and May 31, 2014, at participating Marriott properties. A ‘stay’ is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Only one room per hotel is counted toward a member’s nights or stay. The member receiving this offer has been specifically targeted and the offer is not transferable. This Marriott Rewards and Delta SkyMiles promotional offer is valid only for qualifying stays you personally make at participating Marriott brand hotels. Nights spent while redeeming an award are not eligible for credit. Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for credit. Allow 4 to 6 weeks after promotion ends for miles to be posted to your Delta SkyMiles account. All Delta SkyMiles program terms and conditions apply. Awards are not transferable and may not be given as a gift. Only one room per hotel is counted toward a member’s nights or stay. Participating Marriott brands include JW Marriott, EDITION, Autograph Collection Hotels, Renaissance Hotels, AC Hotels by Marriott, Marriott Hotels, Gaylord Hotels, Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott, TownePlace Suites by Marriott and Marriott Vacation Club. Stays at our exclusive luxury hotel partner, The Ritz-Carlton, will count toward achievement.

Bottom Line

Even though Delta is devaluing their SkyMiles program by switching to a revenue based earning program, the best to earn miles will now be through credit cards or from partner offers such as this one.

Comments

  1. Is there any hooks for signing up for a miles promotion? Will my current Marriotts points be intact and not auto converted to miles? After the 5 stays, can I easily switch back to points?

  2. Did this a few years ago and hammered out 5 nights in a row as the Courtyard and ResInn where next door to each other! For those who have trouble signing up are you earning perf set to earn Delta Miles and not hotel points?
