Delta is at it again with another targeted offered for fast-track to Gold and Platinum Status. You can see if you are targeted and try to register.

As you’ll recall Delta had two targeted offers earlier this year for Delta Gold Status and another one for Delta Platinum Status, where all you had to do was book one BusinessElite flight, however Delta then decided to change the terms and conditions and not allow domestic first class tickets coded as BusinessElite to not be allowed.

  1. Beware! I was denied the third flight on a technicality and thereby denied the platinum status promised. I flew a quickie one-day flight from LGA-DCA to earn that Platinum level. Problem is: I used a prior ticket to pay for it. The agent who helped me book the flight confirmed that it would apply and never made any mention that using an old ticket to pay for a new booking made and flown within the promo period would disqualify the flight from the promotion. Now I am out the $385 and Delta refuses to make it right. I guess their promotion worked… it got me to spend nearly $400 for nothing.
