Free Club Carlson Gold Status

One my readers emailed me with a offer they received for Free Club Carlson Gold Status which I thought I would pass along.

It’s suppose to be for American Express cardholders residing in Europe, but it appears that anyone who enters a European address should be able to register for this.

If you’re interested in getting Club Carlson Gold Status, you can visit this site and use Promo Code: AMEX14GD.

You must join using an address in Europe, however once your account updates to the status, you should be able to change it. If you join using a U.S. address, the account will not reflect the Gold Status.

Bottom Line

Club Carlson Gold Status normally requires 35 Nights/20 Stays Per Calendar Year.

Benefits include Discounts on food and beverage, free internet, room upgrades, a 35% earning bonus, early check-in, late check-out, welcome amenity, and guaranteed availability 72 hours in advance to name a few.

I don’t know how long this deal will last, but if you are thinking about a future Club Carlson stay, then I would sign-up for this status now.

  1. can you please explain how the 72 hour guaranty works in general? i never understood what that meant. thank you

  2. Just did it–in order to change the address on the account, it says you must contact Member Services. I used “my” address in Paris (a colleague), so it doesn’t really matter.

I wonder if they’ll take away the Gold status if you request for them to change the address to an American one–anyone know?

  3. I signed up. It still shows Red tier status. Is the Gold status confirmation supposed to be immediate?

  4. @Natalie: It will show Gold status on the account screen. It just shows a picture of the Red tier on the initial confirmation screen. (That’s if you did it right)

  5. Also, this is what the CC website is showing after sign up:
“Club Carlson Silver Elite Status will be effective approximately 10 days following enrolment through to 28 February 2015” – Silver not Gold? :/

  6. Guess some person decide to leak it after getting it privately on LoyaltyLobby.

Perhaps I should call Club Carlson to let them know it’s out in the wild.

  7. Awesome! Thanks. I just signed up using my previous address in Paris. Already showing “gold” on my status page. To previous posters, I think you have to sign up as a “new” member in order for this to work.

  8. Please take the code down from your blog, so the people who used the deal responsibly do not lose out on it.
If you want to share it, do it privately.

  9. I registered for the offer using a friend’s address abroad as the offer is not available for my country.
If i present the gold card on check in is it possible that i encounter any problems? Or any problems later on?
