I just received an email today that starting on Monday Uber will be increasing their prices for a UberBlack car in New York City.
According to the email, they’ve had the same prices for the last three years, so they thought it was time to raise them.
On Monday, April 7, at 12 AM EDT, the following UberBLACK rates will go into effect:

NOTE:Â Pricing for uberX and UberSUV will remain unchanged.

Bottom Line
I’ve used Uber several times in NYC and it’s a great service. The minimum fare for a Black car is still $15, and the base fee is still $7. However, the price per minute and the price per mile is what will be increasing.
