In the previous post we shared an amazing deal where you can get 50% off summer award redemptions to Europe with Air France or KLM.

Since the 50% off coach tickets with Air France promo awards applies to connecting flights beyond Paris or Amsterdam from Houston, you can pretty much go anywhere in the European network for only 12,500 miles plus taxes and fees. Why stop in Western Europe when you can go all the way to Eastern Europe, Northern Africa or even the Middle East?

This is better than the Air Lingus flight using Avios points, because unlike the Air Lingus Avios point deal, the Air France promo awards can go beyond the point to point of the promotional discounted award price.

The latest promotional offer only requires 12,500 Air France miles plus $87.99 in taxes for a one-way flight to Paris or Amsterdam from Houston during peak summer season, but why stop there when you could go all the way to Casablanca, Istanbul, Moscow, Athens, or Tel Aviv?

  1. Yes it seems great, but in the end how much does one add to the mileage for the cost of a one way return ticket? Is this still a great deal?
