Could this be the new champion of the Hyatt Diamond Breakfast world and possibly beat out the lemon poppy seed pancakes or the home made donuts from the Hyatt 48 & Lex?
We’ve had some great Hyatt Diamond breakfasts in our day, like the one at the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires, or the one at the Park Hyatt Tokyo, or the one at the Andaz Maui. So I think we qualify as a credible source of Hyatt Diamond breakfast hierarchy.
The Reigning Champ (by popular vote)
The lemon poppy seed pancake is over-hyped beyond belief but loved by many in the Hyatt Diamond breakfast bunch.
The Underdog (my personal favorite before the key lime waffle)
Served up in all its ooey goey goodness from the Hyatt 48 Lex, the home made jelly filled donut is definitely a contender for the top breakfast spot among Hyatt Diamond breakfast dignitaries.
The Newcomer
But a hot and soft, yet crunchy Belgium waffle with covered in key lime sauce goodness with a side of mango salsa is among the best. In my humble opinion of course.
It was good I promise. The only way it could have been better was to have been served on the balcony of this two bedroom suite.

Gary / bro – trust me, if I was, I’d be sounding the alarm on the home made donuts even louder…but the key lime waffle butter is an innovation in butter infusion that will top your lemon cakes most any day.

Key lime anything just speaks Key West to me. This may be enough to get me to switch to Hyatt.
