Be sure to register for this double points promotion by July 31, 2014. SPG members can earn double points at participating Latin American Aloft hotels for eligible nights before September 30, 2014. Plus, members can earn a 10,000 Starpoints bonus when they stay at more than one property.
How To Register
Terms And Conditions
Member must register online at spg.com/twoforyou by July 31, 2014, 11:59 p.m. EDT. Member can earn double Starpoints® after every eligible paid night at any Aloft® property in Latin America (Aloft Bogota Airport, Colombia; Aloft San Jose Hotel, Costa Rica; Aloft Cancun, Mexico; Aloft Guadalajara, Mexico; and Aloft Panama, Panama). Member can earn a one-time 10,000 bonus Starpoints after completing an eligible paid night at two or more Aloft properties in Latin America during the promotion period. Member may earn Starpoints for nights from June 1, 2014, through September 30, 2014 (the “promotion period”).
An eligible night is a night at any Latin American Aloft property paying an eligible paid rate during the promotion period. Nights do not have to be consecutive and can be accumulated across multiple stays.
An eligible rate is any rate that is eligible to earn Starpoints in the Starwood Preferred Guest® program. Free Night Awards and Cash & Points Award nights are not eligible toward promotional Starpoints earnings. A description of eligible stays and eligible rates can be found at spg.com under the program terms and conditions. See Section 1.4 for the complete definition of eligible rates, but note that certain prepaid rooms where the booking is made through a third party (including but not limited to travelocity.com, expedia.com and orbitz.com) are not eligible rates and do not earn Starpoints or qualify toward promotional earnings.
Clearly this is a promotion that you can maximize a 10,000 bonus by switching hotels for two quick 1 night stays. Even if I don’t have plans to visit Latin America, I’ll register for this promotion since it goes all the way to September 30, 2014.
