What’s Better: First Set Of Wings Or First TSA Junior Officer Badge?

I think most of is #Avgeeks out there remember when they got their first set of wings as a child, some may even still have them. And if you were lucky, you remember getting to go up to the cockpit to see how the plane is flown. Those are good memories.

It seems the TSA is trying to get in on the nostalgia of traveling as a kid. On a recent trip Baby Weekly Flyer got a first set of wings, but then also got this on the way home when going through security.

I’m not sure about you, but I don’t think going through security for the first time is worth remembering. So what’s better, getting your first set of wings or getting patted down by TSA?

I think I got my first set of wings as a kid on a Delta trip through Las Angeles to Hawaii on a family trip. Baby Weekly Flyer got a first set of wings down to Fort Lauderdale for a wedding in Boca.

Where did you get your first set of wings? I’m sure it was better than going through TSA security.
