Details of the Promotion:

Earn a reward night up to 3X faster with the Hilton HHonors Triple Your Trip promotion. Earn Triple HHonors Points on Friday, Saturday or Sunday nights, and Double HHonors Points on Monday through Thursday nights.

Just sign up and stay at participating hotels and resorts from August 1 through October 31, 2014. If you’re not yet a member, join today.

Be sure to check out the Hotels that have chosen not to participate, as you won’t earn any bonus points at these properties.

I wouldn’t move any business over to Hilton because of this offer, but it’s a nice bonus if you are planning on staying with them anyways.

If looking for Hilton points, consider the Hilton Honors Card from American Express card.

  1. It is a shame that so many Hilton properties have opted out of this. The HOTELS THAT HAVE CHOSEN NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN “TRIPLE YOUR TRIP” 2014 (http://hhonors3.hilton.com/en/promotions/triple-your-trip/non-participating-hotels.html ) is a long list that makes this promotion ridiculous. What a joke!

I got the promotional email again today, and happened to check the list. And I could not believe the length of the list. I am guessing that its almost 1200 properties.

HHonors needs to hold promotions that include all (or close to all) of their hotels, or not hold the promotion. This is misleading, at best, and unethical at worst.
