British Airways Cancels Flights To And From Liberia and Sierra Leone

British Airways has cancelled flights and suspended service to and from Liberia and Sierra Leone due to the Ebola situation on those countries. As CDC issued guidelines for airline flight with suspected Ebola infection, airlines began to trim service to the countries with known outbreaks of Ebola. British Airways has temporarily suspended flights to and from Liberia and Sierra Leone until 31 August 2014 due to the deteriorating public health situation in both countries.

The safety of our customers, crew and ground teams is always our top priority and we will keep the routes under constant review in the coming weeks.

On a related note, Delta recommends passengers arrive to the airport at least 2 hours early to go through health screenings for flights to or from Lagos, Nigeria and Monrovia, Liberia.
