Grand Canyon Aerial Photos – 35,000 Feet Up

Leaving Las Vegas we turned east and started to head back to Atlanta. As we passed Lake Mead and approached the Grand Canyon, I pulled out my iPhone 5s to snap a few photos.

The pictures below are from the left side of the plane, which for our flight, gave us an aerial view of the Grand Canyon.

Looking down it was surreal and the photos don’t do it any justice even though, for an iPhone the pictures aren’t that bad.

Getting a free aerial tour of the Grand Canyon is a great way to end a long weekend in Vegas spent learning, sharing knowledge and meeting new friends.
