Per American, their Miami hub provides connections to more than 130 domestic and international markets in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America.

“As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of our Miami hub, new service to Frankfurt underscores Miami’s importance and our commitment to its growth,” said Marilyn DeVoe, American’s Vice President – Miami. “We’re incredibly proud of how we connect customers to Latin America, and new service to Europe demonstrates Miami’s strength as a destination for international travelers.”

The flights will depart Miami at 2:45 p.m. daily, arriving in Frankfurt at 6:15 a.m. Flights will depart Frankfurt at 10:30 a.m. daily, arriving in Miami at 2:55 p.m. American Airlines now has four daily peak season flights to Frankfurt from its hubs in Miami, Dallas/Fort Worth, Charlotte, and Philadelphia.

The airline offers expanded service for customers through its Atlantic joint business with British Airways, Iberia and Finnair and its oneworld alliance partners, with more than 80 routes across the Atlantic.

Bottom Line

Adding a new route from Miami to Frankfurt will be a nice addition to their European service from Miami already.

It will be interesting to see if this route will last, what are your thoughts on it?
