The SPG Double Play Promotion is here the terms are the same as we reported here when it was leaked last week. You have to register by March 31st, 2015 to earn double Starpoints on eligible stays of 2 or more nights and you will also earn 1,000 Starpoints for every 5 nights you stay (up to 4,000.) The promotion starts today so register at spg.com/doubleplay and it runs through tax day, April 15th, 2015!

Double Stack SPG With Le Meridien
From now through March 1, 2015, Starwood is offering it’s members up to 2,000 bonus points per stay at Le Méridien hotels and resorts in North America, Latin America and French Polynesia.
But you need to register now, before January 25, 2015 in order to take advantage of the promotion during the promotion period.

Bottom Line
That’s a fairly impressive line up of hotel promotions, although in the past, I’ve seen some more lucrative ones. The Hyatt promotion stands out to me as the most lucrative for my stay patterns. After only 20 nights, I can earn 50,000 bonus points. Some people received a bonus promotion from Hyatt to earn 65,000 points after 25 nights, so that one is clearly better.
However, double stacking the Starwood Double Play promotion with the Le Meridien 2,000 points promotion is clearly a winner. The Le Meridien promotion is not limited so there is real potential to max that one out.

Has anyone had any luck switching Hyatt promotions in the past
Hi, there is an error in the Marriott promo. it is unfortunately not double points, but 2500. (which is only good for short stays and not expensive locations)
