Just this past weekend the amazing priced Gotham Air Helicopter that gets you from Manhattan to JFK Airport in as little as six minutes, became bookable. The introductory $99 fare isn’t so bad, and when you think about the fact that it could save a ton of extra time or even save making your flight if running late from a meeting, the regular fare of $219 could be worth it.

There are now videos surfacing of the first flights to and from JFK from lower Manhattan. Check out this flight video from Gizmodo and tell me you wouldn’t feel like an important person flying in that chopper.
For flights to take off, 4 people have to be confirmed for the flight. But I don’t imagine that would be a problem on a Thursday evening heading to JFK.
Who’s flying this thing first? It’s definitely on our radar and we anticipate being able to book a flight in the coming weeks to report a first hand experience.
