Yesterday I was delighted to get the following email from Hyatt, congratulating me on hitting a 50 unique hotel milestone. Apparently, I have stayed at 50 different Hyatt hotels over the last 10 years or so. Really, the last 8 years, because I only had one stay in 2004 and 2005 the rest were earned between 2007-2015. The email mapped out my stays which was really pretty cool! In addition, (and the best part) was that they gave me 10,000 bonus points and another 500 if I play a game!

Bottom Line

I thought that this was pretty cool from Hyatt and a really nice way to say thank you for your loyalty. I probably could have done this a lot faster had I been trying. I often stay in the same hotels week after week just out of convenience. How about you? Are you close to a milestone 25, 50 or 75 different properties with Hyatt?

  1. Part of the milestone surprise and delight program, which is targeted. Not everyone who reaches the 25, 50, 75, or 100 stay threshold will get this. And Hyatt is transparent, they don’t know or publish the “secret sauce” on qualification criteria. LOL.
