Delta has launched a targeted offer where you can earn 500 bonus SkyMiles if you’re lucky enough to be targeted.

Your business travel has landed you an opportunity to get 500 bonus miles on flights now through April 26, 2015. Use them toward Award Travel (vacation time!) or exclusive SkyMiles Experiences. Your miles don’t expire, so keep flying Delta to continue earning more.

Terms and Conditions: 

Eligibility: Only members who receive this communication directly from Delta Air Lines are eligible to participate in this offer. Eligible members must be an existing SkyMiles member and must first register online, then book by April 26, 2015 (ending 11:59:59pm, U.S. CDT on 04/26/15), and fly between February 26, 2015, and April 26, 2015. This offer is nontransferable. Promotional registration is required before purchasing and taking flight and only tickets purchased (following promotional registration) will qualify for this bonus.

Bonus Offer: Purchase and fly a Delta or Delta Connection®-marketed and -operated flight to earn 500  miles. Travel must be between February 26, 2015, and April 26, 2015, to earn 500 bonus miles. Basic Economy (E) fares are excluded from this offer. Only those flight segments purchased with a published fare that earns full mileage accrual are eligible. Codeshare flights operated by carriers other than Delta or Delta Connection are excluded from this offer. There is no limit to the bonus miles that can be earned within the qualification period. Bonus miles will be awarded on base miles only and will not be awarded for mileage bonuses or other class of service MQM bonuses provided in connection with Medallion® status. A reissued ticket will not qualify for this bonus if the original ticket was purchased before the promotional registration date.

Travel Period: Travel must be between February 26, 2015, and April 26, 2015. All travel must be completed by April 26, 2015.

  1. I get it, but 500 miles adds up eventually to a free ticket and I like free tickets! How long do you think it will take to get to a free ticket in 500 mile increments?

  2. Hi PMM/ weekly flyer. Sorry about sounding a little snarky. Just frustrated with Delta’s new 5 tier system, where tier 2 seems to be the new saver level. I hate to admit it, but I may have liked the old way better. With due diligence, you were able to piece together a 6-8 leg TPAC/ TATL award for the saver price. No such luck now.
