Traveling at 30,000 feet in a metal tube does a number on your taste buds. So when a new good and tasty snack comes along, I usually take notice.

I like to think about airline snacks as more than just peanuts and Pretzels. And thankfully the great team at Delta Airlines does as well.

Best Airline Snack

When I spotted the dark purple on the package I instantly thought dark chocolate something. I knew it would be good. But then when I saw the fruit that was wrapped in the dark chocolate, I knew it was knew (at least to me) and something worth trying.

The Dark Chocolate Acai & Blueberry fruit snack by brookside comes in at only 70 calories per package but it comes with a powerful punch of flavor and sweetness.

Best Airline Snack - Could This Be It?

Bottom Line

The Dark Chocolate Acai & Blueberry snack is a winner in my book, and quite possibly the best airline snack in the sky at the moment.

My seat mate and I both re-ordered another pack each after initially tasting them. He looked at me and said “this is amazing” and I totally agree.

Have you tried this or another snack in he sky that blew your taste buds away? What was it and which airline served it?

  1. I personnally love Air Canada’s butter flavoured pretzels. They’re made by Krispy Kernels. It tastes just like popcorn. I think heaven tastes like that too.

I asked for two packs on my last flight! And I am looking forward to those every time I take a flight with Air Canada!

  2. I agree – they are good. But even more surprising to me was how much my husband likes them. He said “they taste way too good to be good for you in any way”. He is normally not one that cares for his chocolate with anything fruity, but this was certainly an exception.

  3. I can’t believe this is a free airline snack!! I buy these at Safeway/Target/Costco, lol! (5% redbird really helps…)

  4. These chocolate covered berries are part of one of AA’s snack boxes, comp to ExecPlats in coach, about $6 (includes peta chips, hummus, cheese spread and a few other items).

  5. These are a tasty addition to the snack basket, but they are essentially chocolate covered berry-flavored gummy candies.

But, I enjoy them while sipping on Woodfood so can’t really comment on indulgences.
