*AAdvantage bonus offer only available to new Energy Plus customers. AAdvantage bonus miles will be awarded to American Airlines AAdvantage members after two months active service with Energy Plus. It may take up to 8 weeks for service to start with Energy Plus based on your billing cycle when you sign up. AAdvantage bonus miles will post in your AAdvantage account 8 – 12 weeks after service starts. AAdvantage members will earn 2 AAdvantage miles for every $1 spent on Energy Plus portion of monthly bill. Energy Plus reserves the right to modify or discontinue the program.   1. Can you cancel the subscription after 2 billing cycles, without the miles clawed back?

  2. this only works if you live in a small apartment and consume almost no electricity during the time. The rates that they charge are usually about 3-5 times the regular electricity rates. It’s kind of a scam.
    Perhaps you can do it if there are two months when you are mostly away traveling and have unplugged everything (including your fridge).
