The Business Platinum Card® from American Express is back with one of my favorite features of the card. The American Express Pay With Points Option can save you 30% of your points starting on July 1, 2015.

Back in March, American Express removed their 20% Pay with Points bonus option. But they recently started started sending customers the following notice that the Pay with Points bonus option is back and better than before, in my opinion.

This Pay with Points option, plus the benefits below are the main reasons I keep my The Business Platinum Card® from American Express each year.

I personally get tremendous value out of the card by using the following:

• Complimentary access to over 700 airport lounges worldwide

In the past I’ve saved thousands using the Pay with Points option. But that was only with the 20% bonus. Now I’ll save even more with the 30% bonus.

Bottom Line

The American Express Pay with Points bonus is coming back for The Business Platinum Card® from American Express cardholders starting on July 1, 2015. I for one am excited to see this benefit return. I find it a useful benefit when the airline I want to fly doesn’t have standard award space available.
