Based on what I’ve heard about buying itunes giftcards on paypal I’d rather avoid it…If anyone else agrees with me, try using a website like itunes-giftcards(dot)com or tunescodes(dot)com. These in particular deliver the code straight to your email and verify each purchase to avoid scams. I’ve been using itunes-giftcards for years now without a problem.
