If you are not familiar with Topcashback, they are a shopping portal that offers the “US’s most generous cash back.” I personally use Topcashback and find them to be very generous when it comes to the percentages that you can earn when you shop through the site. Today, they sent me an email that they are offering 2.25% cash back on American Express gift cards for 24 hours only. But, then I did some searching on their travel deals and found a really great deal!

I was looking through the travel offers when I spotted this deal from British Airways: It looks like there is a very good offer from British Airways for a flat $34 back on a hotel booking. I looked around the British Airways site and found hot deals on 1 night stays in Orlando. (We are looking to book a trip to Orlando next month.) This deal looks to make 1 night hotel stays potentially as cheap as only $5 (after the $34 cashback.) See my search below. I was able to find 2 different 3 star hotels that would net be $5 and $29 respectively after the Topcashback offer of $34 back! How sweet is that?

The Deal

  • Get $34 back via Topcashback on your hotel stay.

Merchant Notes – Fine Print On British Airways offer:

Please note that the use of a British Airways promotional/coupon code not posted and approved by TopCashback, may affect your eligibility for cashback.

British Airways Cashback is available through TopCashback on genuine, tracked transactions completed immediately and wholly online.

BRITISH AIRWAYS CASHBACK can be earned simply by clicking ‘Get cashback & visit retailer’ button through to the merchant and shopping online as normal.

Please note, only purchases made on British Airways’s US site are eligible for cashback.

Expect transactions for this retailer to appear the following day, but can be a few weeks in some cases. Transactions take about 45 days to become confirmed and about 60 – 90 days to become payable, unless otherwise indicated on the Avg Payment Speed statistics above. Recurrences may be limited.

Cashback rates are subject to change, both up and down.

Whilst the vast majority of transactions from merchants track successfully, occasionally a transaction may not get reported. Comments

  1. Any idea on the cancellation fees? Orbitz, Booking, Expedia usually don’t charge any fees unless the fees come from the hotel directly….

  2. Great deal but odd to use with multi day bookings. I assume you can get the $40 per night if you book each night individually.

@steven the BA hotel website rate detail sorts the rooms with cancellation fees, etc. You’ll see this reflected in the price of the room type on the hotels I’ve looked at so far.

  3. Do bookings made from the British airways website count as stays towards status?
