How I’ve Used My Free $20 Sam’s Offer For You
Here’s how I’ve used mine so far. I personally don’t think that there is a right or a wrong way to use these credits. The way I look at it is that I am essentially getting $100 for free (after the 5x $20 statement credits.) So, I browsed around online at Sam’s Club this past weekend and made the following purchase:
This deal is nice because you get the free $10 gift card so it is only $71.98 for $85 in gift cards. If you are not a member and have to pay the 10%, you are still getting a great value. After I split billed this order it was less then $40 for an $85 Outback gift card delivered to my door (also good at partner restaurants.)
 I already received my statement credits as well as my orders! I still have 2 more credits to use. This is fun!
It is very easy to split bill your order on to 2 Amex cards to get 2 statement credits per order. If you have multiple cards loaded, consider this option and you can order something more expensive (over $40.)
I also ordered baby diapers. I know, it’s not very exciting or glamorous, but essential and with the $20 statement credit; a no brainer!

I have a no longer offered Citi AAdvantage American Express card. Would this card be eligible for the Amex offers? Or not because it’s actually issued by Citi? And if it is eligible, how would I go about loading the offer to this card? I have an American Express gold card and already loaded the offers I’m interested in, but would love to double up on them with a second card if I can!
