How to earn Medallion qualifying miles each year?

When it comes to earning Medallion Qualifying Miles through the credit cards, you can earn 20,000 MQMs annually with the Delta Platinum SkyMiles Card from American Express and 30,000 MQMs annually with the Delta Reserve Card, meaning just from spending on these two cards alone you could already be Delta Gold Medallion without ever flying. See airline credit card offers page for current offers.

Breaking it down:

With the Delta Platinum card, you earn 10,000 MQMs after spending $25,000 in a calendar year, and another 10,000 MQMs after reaching the $50,000 mark in a calendar year for a total of 20,000 MQMs.

With the Delta Reserve card, you earn 15,000 MQMs after spending $30,000 in a calendar year, and another 15,000 MQMs after reaching the $60,000 mark in a calendar year for a total of 30,000 MQMs.

Keep in mind the MQMs earned from the Delta Reserve card can be gifted to any friends or family members and vice versa, so if your spouse was to get one and also meet the spend requirement, they could gift you their 30,000 MQMs each year as well.

In addition, Amex offers business versions of the Delta Platinum and the Delta Reserve cards with the same spending thresholds in place, so you could easily earn Diamond status if you were to spend a bunch on all these cards.
