My Hyatt Diamond Packet Arrived; What’s In It?

My Hyatt Diamond Packet Arrived; What's In It?

1.) The usual welcome letter thanking me for continuing to stay at Hyatt and welcoming me to another year of Diamond status along with a new Diamond card.

2.) 2 One-time passes to the United Club, good through 8/31/16.

3.) A note reminding me that there is a new way to share my Diamond status (which I honestly forgot about.)

Sharing Diamond status means that when you redeem your points for a free night for your friends and family, they will receive the hotel perks of Diamond membership. The ‘Guest of Honor’ as they are calling it, will get:

  • The best room available upon arrival, excluding suites
  • Welcome amenity
  • Access to the Regency Club or Grand Club lounge including breakfast
  • An upgrade to premium Wi-Fi (where available)
  • 4pm late checkout

This is actually pretty cool of Hyatt. For me, it means that I don’t have to feel sneaky when I am helping out my extended family to include them in our Diamond amenities while on a trip. It will be on the up and up, so to speak.

Benefits of Hyatt Diamond:

Bottom Line

I really like Hyatt. I think that their product is really great. I do wish they would have some more lucrative promotions, but I will still stick with them as one of my favorites. I love when they add new properties and think that their new way to ‘Share Diamond’ status is pretty cool (especially for my friends and family members.)
