You can score a free, easy 200 SPG points by doing the following. These points will extend the expiration on your points account, so definitely worth doing if you haven’t had a stay recently. This took me less then 2 minutes.

Terms: An eligible member can earn 200 bonus Starpoints for opting in to the email subscription(s) in the form field on the SPG Dashboard and clicking “Update Your Account.†A member can only earn the bonus once during the offer earn window, which ends Nov-24-2015. A member must subscribe to all of the displayed email subscription(s) using the form field on the SPG Dashboard for the Starpoints to be earned.

  1. What is the current expiration policy for SPG points and is there anywhere on SPG that shows when the points will expire? thanks

  2. @shaun I believe it is 12 months.

    For me the 200 points has not posted yet. Not sure how long it takes for it to post.

  3. Just tried this now to extend wife’s and my account. Just 50pts right now for both of our accounts.
