Looks like there is a new benefit for cardholders of the The Platinum Card® from American Express. Member can now enroll in complimentary HHonors™ Gold status! You already could get SPG Gold Status With American Express Platinum Card, so this is just another great benefit of having the card.

Bottom Line
I personally carry The Platinum Card® from American Express for the numerous benefits that it affords me like the $200 Airline Fee Credit Annually and access to the Centurion Lounges among others. Complimentary HHonors™ Gold status is just another great perk!

  1. Future Hilton announcement perdiction: “Hilton is excited to announce a new level to their already busting at the seams membership program….. The new “Barron Platium” status in honor of our founder. This level is reached after 52 stays with the Hilton family of properties.
