One of my favorite IHG redemptions was when we redeemed 280,000 (40k x 7 nights) points to stay at the InterContinental Thalasso Bora Bora – (French Polynesia Trip Report here.) Certainly a great possibility for those looking for an aspirational trip with IHG points!

  1. Very important to check hotel rates before buying. I was going to use the 0.70 points for an Aruba stay, but they wanted 30,000 points per night when the room was available on Expedia for $121.00 per night. Even the sale points would cost $174.00.
