Uber is testing out a loyalty program in Los Angeles as reported by the DoctorOfCredit, which is pretty exciting news for me since I rely on Uber to get around daily. I prefer UberBLACK but, because it is so much more expensive then UberX, I have been trying to use UberX more. If they roll out a loyalty program, I think that I would definitely go back to UberBLACK.
Uber Testing New Loyalty Program
The Deal
- For every UberBLACK trip you will earn 200 points
- When you’ve earned 3,000 points, you’ll receive a $25 ride credit, So after 15 UberBLACK rides.
- Program is opt in, you can enter the code ‘LOYALUBERBLACK’
- Runs until June 1st, 2016
Bottom Line
It is cool to see Uber thinking about incorporating a loyalty program as I think that it is needed. For frequent Uber-rders like myself, I can’t wait for them to roll this out!
