American Express has launched a new offer, where cardholders can earn double points at Small Businesses through December 31, 2016. This new promotion applies to all Amex cards, not just Membership Rewards products, which is great.

You can view their Small Business map here to see what qualifies as a small business. If you have multiple American Express cards, you must register each card separately.

  1. So as you understand this, if you have an amex card that pays two points at restaurants, it would be four points? Or, instead, would it be one point doubled, so two points, and then add in the bonus point for restaurants, equaling three points total?

  2. This is a pretty sweet deal. How often do you have the chance to earn double Starwood points without actually staying at a Starwood property?
