Inflight Wifi has become a necessity in today’s travel, and something that most of us can’t travel with us, though it can be expensive if paying each time. Luckliy, there’s actually a credit card that provides 12 free Gogo Inflight Wi-Fi Passes each year just for having the card.

The card is the U.S. Bank FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature, which has no annual fee the first year, then just a $49 fee each year after. When looking on the Gogo site, a 24 hour pass on Delta is $28, so for the price of less than 2 passes you’ll get 12 free passes each year.

If you’re in doubt that this in annual benefit, just take a look at the terms which state “At the end of your initial 12-month period, provided the Gogo Inflight Wi-Fi benefit is still being offered and you continue to meet U.S. Bank’s eligibility requirements, you will receive an email inviting you to reregister for the benefit at visa.gogoair.com/usbank to receive another 12 Inflight Wi-Fi passes.”

  1. The real key to this card is to make sure you use it some every year or you won’t qualify for the free Gogo passes. If you sock drawer it and never use during the 12 months you won’t get the passes when you log into the promo site. Speaking from experience.

  2. Spend $24k annually and you’ll earn 3,500 Flexpoints, which you can either redeem to cancel out the $49 AF (or for up to $70 towards air travel).

  3. Spend $24K on a 2% cash back card and earn $480. Pay the $49 annual fee and you have over $400 left over!

  4. Keep in mind that if you’ve spent $24k at grocery stores and/or wireless providers, you would’ve also earned $720 towards travel. However, getting the bonus points for hitting $24k only applies if you opened your account before a certain date (summer 2017).
