Scorpion Stings United Airlines Passenger Onboard Plane

United Airlines is once again in the news this week, after United Airlines Passenger Dragged Off Plane Due To Oversell, this time a United passenger was stung by a scorpion onboard one of its planes. The scorpion fell from the overhead bin and stung a passenger on a flight headed to Calgary, Canada.

Per NBC News,

A creature that appeared to be a scorpion fell from an overhead bin and stung a man on a United Airlines flight, the company confirmed to CNBC on Thursday. 

According to multiple reports, passenger Richard Bell was on a United flight from Houston to Calgary on Sunday, when the creature fell from an overhead bin and stung him. 

“Medical personnel met the aircraft after it arrived in Calgary,” United spokesman Charles Hobart told CNBC. 

Bottom Line

It hasn’t been a good couple of weeks for United, and this latest story didn’t help!
