Great news for both cardholders of the Platinum Card® from American Express, or the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express OPEN, American Express has just announced that cardholders will have even more lounge access! It is always great to see Priority Pass adding more lounges for us to utilize and this one sound especially exciting to me. Take a look at the HOUSE SPIRITS DISTILLERY in Portland OR International (Concourse C) which looks to me to be a pretty nice addition!
Distillery Lounge Now Available For Platinum Cardholders
Not too long ago, Priority Pass Added New Restaurant As Lounge. Now, House Spirits Distillery is included. Next time I go through the Portland airport, I can’t wait to check this out!

05:00 – 22:00 daily. House Spirits Distillery is a leader of America’s craft distilling resurgence. The company’s award-winning products are made exclusively in-house and are crafted in small batches with a passionate pursuit of perfection using ethically sourced ingredients. The product portfolio includes Westward American Single Malt Whiskey, Krogstad Aquavit, Volstead Vodka, and Casa Magdalena Rum. It is the only distiller in the world to have opened an airport tasting room.
Location
Cardholders and accompanying guests will receive US$28 off the final bill per person per visit, valid on any type of drink/tasting, excluding bottle sales and merchandise upon presentation of a valid card. Airside – near Gate C6.

1. Cardholders must present a valid card for staff to swipe and record the visit incl. any accompanying guests.
Bottom Line
It always makes traveling a little nicer when you have nice lounge that you can access for free. You can gain access to Priority Pass Select for free by being a cardholder of The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express or other cards such as the Citi Prestige® Card. Remember that you need to ask Amex to register you for Priority Pass after you receive your Platinum card/s. Access to this fun lounge is just another great card perk of these cards. Enjoy!

The statement “Keep in mind that if you just picked up the Hilton Honors™ Surpass® Card from American Express that you also get complementary Priority Pass access” may be misleading. There is a charge per visit, unlike the AMEX Plat benefit.
