Earlier this year I wrote a post about our stroller that we took with us to Disney in First Disney Trip. We quickly realized what was important in an umbrella stroller at an all day walking event such as Disney World. Right now we are planning a trip across country and I just invested in what I think is the best travel stroller ever (or at least that I’ve seen.)

The Stroller

Let me introduce you to the gb Pockit Stroller. We needed a new umbrella stroller for our trip since I donated the one umbrella stroller that failed us in Disney last year. I did some research and when I came across this beauty, let me just say I was skeptical. But, I became very excited once I read the reviews.

I ended up ordering 2 instead of one, because I had high hopes! And because if it was that great then, I can’t have one awesome stroller and one just ok and much bigger one. Today, I received a small box at my front door that contained both strollers.

My Review

Here is my review after un-packing and test driving one around the house with a 20 lb toddler and also with a 45 lb 5 year old (separately.)

I am maybe the worst at putting things together and figuring our how they work at first. But, the gb Pockit Stroller doesn’t need to be put together nor did it take me longer then 45 seconds to get it up and running. It took me another minute to figure out that you can unlock the front wheels to make this baby turn on a dime, seriously!

The handles are adjustable for height and it folds down to about the size of a laptop (12″ x 7″ x 20″), which is insane! You can wheel this thing right up to the plane and forget gate check, it will fit in the overhead bin with ease. I can’t wait! You can see a video of it here.

One thing that I was concerned with was how sturdy it would be but, it says that it can carry up to 55 lbs. I think that it is plenty sturdy. I was also concerned with the capability to turn it with ease and especially if you can steer with only one hand and again, I’m pleasantly surprised. Both features are pretty great.

The size that the gb Pockit Stroller folds down to is a game changer for people who like to travel with their kids. I’m a big fan (and no I was not paid for this review, nor did I get these for free. It was current price $179.95 with free delivery, Amazon.)

Bottom Line

I will review this again once I use it on our trip, but I’m pretty excited about my new travel gear! So far, the gb Pockit Stroller is pretty great!

  1. Ever since getting this stroller in spring 2016, I’ve never traveled with anything else. It’s amazing. And being able to put it underneath the seat in front of you or an overhead bin on an airplane is priceless. People literally stop me everywhere when I use it wanting to know what it is.
