Kimpton Karma Rewards To Roll Into IHG

Kimpton Karma Rewards will roll into IHG® Rewards Club and become one program in early 2018 with a single reward points system. All the special magic of Kimpton Karma will remain, which means you’ll continue to experience the personalized recognition and perks you love when you check into a Kimpton hotel.

Your new IHG® Rewards Club tier will be based on the Kimpton Karma tier earned by December 31, 2017. Tier 1 becomes Club, Tier 2 becomes Gold Elite…you get the gist. Inner Circle members will become Spire Elite while maintaining their Inner Circle status at Kimpton Hotels. Your new IHG Rewards Club tier will be recognized across any of IHG’s 12 global hotel brands, including Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Indigo®, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Holiday Inn® Resort, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®, HUALUXE® Hotels & Resorts, EVEN® Hotels, Staybridge Suites®, Candlewood Suites®, and Crowne Plaza®.

  1. Kimpton loyalists are gonna be pissed. IHG members, however, should be quite pleased. No more 15,000 point Holiday Inn Expresses. More Kimptons please.
Oh, and cue the IHG card annual fee going up as well. Someone’s gotta pay for those free nights.
