Redeeming Delta SkyMiles for Domestic and Caribbean Travel

Delta and American Express have increased sign-up offers for the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express and the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express allowing you to earn 130,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles after completing the minimum spend requirements. However, both of these lucrative offers end on November 8, 2017. You can view the full details of these cards here.

With all these bonus SkyMiles that you can earn through these sign-up offers, here are some ideas on how you can leverage your SkyMiles for Delta flights domestically as well as the Caribbean.

Additionally, if you’re a Medallion member, redeeming SkyMiles for flight still allows you to remain upgrade eligible, as you’d normally would if you were to purchase these tickets.

How You Earn Delta SkyMiles to Book These Flights:

Delta and American Express have increased sign-up offers for the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express and the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express allowing you to earn 130,000 bonus Delta SkyMiles after completing the minimum spend requirements. However, both of these lucrative offers end on November 8, 2017.

You’ll now earn 70,000 Delta SkyMiles plus 10,000 Medallion Qualifying Miles after spending $3,000 within the first 3 months on the Platinum Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American Express This card comes with a $100 Delta statement credit, which you can use during your first 3 months.

Additionally, you can earn 50,000 Delta SkyMiles after spending $2,000 within the first 3 months on the Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card from American ExpressAdditionally with this card, you can earn an additional 10,000 Delta SkyMiles after spending another $1,000 as well. As these are separate cards, you would be able to sign up for both of these to earn a 130,000 Delta SkyMiles after meeting the minimum spend.
