Last June, Amazon announced that they would acquire Whole Foods and everyone started speculating what they would do with it. Well, here is the start of something interesting. This is just the beginning as this is only available in select markets. But, “Prime customers can now enjoy free 2-hour delivery for orders over $35 from Whole Foods Market!”
Amazon Prime Adds Free 2 Hour Delivery From Whole Foods!
According to Amazon’s press release,
Feb. 8, 2018– (NASDAQ: AMZN)—Amazon and Whole Foods Market today announced the introduction of free two-hour delivery of natural and organic products from Whole Foods Market through Prime Now, with plans to expand across the U.S. in 2018. Starting today, Prime customers in neighborhoods of Austin, Cincinnati, Dallas and Virginia Beach can shop through Prime Now for bestselling items including fresh produce, high quality meat and seafood, everyday staples and other locally sourced items from Whole Foods Market.

There are a lot of Whole Foods fans out there so this is exciting news! I will be interested to see how this looks once it is available where I live.
