While this is a decent option to earn Delta points with car rentals. I prefer the 3,000 US Airways miles with Avis offer or the 50,000 Air France Flying Blue miles Avis offer.

  1. 3000 US Airways miles with Avis expired as of March 31st unless it has been extended again. Are you aware of any such extension?

  2. Has the US Airways 3000 mile offer been extended? It was set to expire March 31, and I can no longer find an active listing online. Of course, the last 3 day rental I had was just under the wire at the end of March so haven’t tested to see if the miles are still posting with April rentals.

  3. I’ll imagine the Delta CDP with Hertz produces a higher rate than say AAA. Haven’t checked it yet.

  4. Thanks for pointing out weekly flyer. This has been my go to coupon for Avis. I will get back to it once the Flying Blue promotion is fulfilled.

  5. Hi,

Will the Delta/Hertz offer double dip the points? I mean, will I get both Hertz points and Delta miles if I am using the CDP code? Thank you.

  6. Hertz often won`t give the bonuses without saying why – it is all done by the computer and humans at Hertz don`t know what it is doing. I think it only applies to airport locations. If you check into a hotel overnight, get over jet-lag, and then go to the local edition you won`t get the bonuses.

    Hertz! – explain please – they won`t!
