Can You Redeem Hertz Gold Points For The Porsche?

We reached out to our contacts in the marketing department at Hertz to see if you can redeem Hertz points for Porsche rentals at this time and here is what they said.

1) Is there a way to redeem Hertz points for the prestige class?

Members can redeem Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Points for a free rental of a wide range of best in class cars – including luxury cars in the Prestige Collection, for a week or a weekend; however, at this time the Porsche is excluded. Other luxury cars that can used for a redemption are INFINITI G35, MERCEDES GLK350, CADILLAC ESCALADE and more.

2) How many Hertz gold reward points would it require?

Redemptions for the Prestige Collection start at just 3000 points. For more information on Hertz Gold Rewards points/amounts required for redemption (including the Prestige Collection), please click here.

Bottom Line

It is cool to see this addition to their fleet. I’ve been hoping that Delta would pick me up from a gate in one of their Porsche cars, this would create a remarkable travel experience. But Delta reserves the cards for their top elite members with difficult layovers.

With the Hertz addition of Porsche into their fleet, you can reserve a sports car for a truly unforgettable experience and “live the dream” at least for the weekend.

Comments

  1. With a retail price of over $75,000 many credit cards that offer primary collision damage waiver will not have that coverage apply.

  2. in what circumstances will Delta meet you with a car at a gate? I’ve never heard of that.

Technically, how? You cut out of the jetbridge down the stairs by which they’re bringing up the plane-side checked luggage, down to a car, and over to your connecting gate?

  3. One correction: I just booked a Panamera at LAS next March (2013) for four days over a weekend. I was able to reserve it with 4,500 Hertz points, leaving me responsible for just taxes. The catch? The taxes are calculated on the normal rental rate, so I am told my cost will be $244.86 at the time of rental.

  4. Can you tell me where do you get the concepts for your posts.
I have to launch a similar blog.
